In the 1970s I began recording and releasing my music on cassette and LP, and working with my friend Craig Huxley scoring films. In those early years, my solo music wound up in productions for Laserium, NASA and choreographed to by the Berkshire Ballet.
Then in 1984 I scored the IMAX film “Chronos”. This led to the creation of my own production company, with a focus on producing soundtracks for large format films and themed attractions. My studio was set up for scoring, producing and mixing films in multi channel surround. Depending on the budget and schedule, I would sometimes score a project, at other times act as sound designer, supervising soundtrack editor or overall soundtrack producer.
The early incarnation of the company produced soundtracks for 15 IMAX films and the “Earthquake” and “Back to the Future” attractions for Universal. Since then there have been productions for World’s Fair/Expos, casinos, commercials, feature films, documentaries and more IMAX films and themed attractions.
We handle all aspects of creating soundtracks, from scoring music, to spotting and shooting foley, sound effect design and editorial, to pre-dubbing and final mixing.
